In addition to the clubs and activities listed below, students select a specialty advsiory. Advisories meet for 20 minutes a day. This is a time where students can connect with a teacher and their peers about a topic or activity that is of interest to them. Most specialty advisories are not academic base, but more real-world.

Girls Who Code- Empowers young women to get more involved in the tech industry. Students learn the principles of Apple Swift Coding to learn how to create apps that make a difference in their community and the world around them.

National Honor Society-Students with outstanding grades are invited during the junior and senior years to focus on service and giving back to their communities.

PALS-(Peer Assistance Leadership and Service) is an organization focused on empowering youth through mentoring. PALS students are High School Juniors and Seniors trained to be peer mentors and role models to PALees (younger students at our feeder schools). Our Navarro PALS program promotes service opportunities on and off campus. We incorporate SEL strategies to help develop interpersonal skills to help create positive and empathetic school environments. We also work with students on our own campus to promote our No Place for Hate Initiatives and serve as mentors to our PAL Lunch Buddies (Life Skills students).

Student Council-is an organization that serves as a liason between the Navarro student body and Navarro administration/staff.  Student Council is open for Navarro students of all 4 grade levels. They provide a forum for expression of student opinion while building positive relations between students and faculty. StuCo students organize, participate and promote a varied number of student body activities through our No Place For Hate Initiatives. Student Council students are also responsible for organizing #1 Pride, #1 Respect and #1 Responsibility activity for each semester for a total of 6 a year (Homecoming activities included). 

Theatre Club - Students interested in the betterment of the Viking Theatre program, helping through planning ahead, fostering community, and having a good time.

Viking Visual AV Club - Students learn the art of filmmaking through film analysis and video production. *Must be in the Viking Visual Cinematic Arts, Media & Design Program to participate.
