The following students brought home blue ribbons at the Texas Association of Future Educators state competition:

• Noemi Segovia & Zulli Leyva - earned one blue ribbon for presenting our chapter yearbook
• Lex Washington & Gabby Media- earned two blue ribbons for presenting two original interactive bulletin boards for elementary and middle school respectively
• Special mention for Sandra Reyes & Angela Nieto who earned a white ribbon for presenting their original teacher created material for a middle school classroom
