Navarro ECHS Senior Send Off Parade
When: Thursday, May 28th
Where: Navarro ECHS
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm, senior vehicle line up starts at 5:30 pm in the back student parking lot.
We want to ensure everyone’s safety therefore…
- Instructions for Seniors driving in the parade:
- Meet in the back student parking lot starting at 5:30 p.m. Do not come in through the theater side. Those gates will be closed.
- Make sure your car is decorated (school appropriate) and ready to go by that time
- Wear your cap and gown or school spirit wear.
- Stay in your car during the line-up and during the parade.
- We encourage parents or family members be the ones to drive so our seniors may wave and enjoy the moment.
- Follow the route during the parade
- The parade will go through the route once. Follow the SRO’s AISD police cars.
- Speed limit is 5mph
- After the parade we will not be allowing cars to park in our parking lots. We are continuing to keep social distancing.
Instructions for spectators viewing parade:
- We encourage parents, Navarro underclassmen, family members, and community members to watch the parade along the route
- Parking will be limited at Navarro so please plan accordingly to park on side streets
- You are encouraged to have signs and cheer on all of our seniors.
- If you wish to be out of your car, please select a social distancing marker for your family to watch the parade
- Please stay with your party on your social distancing mark in spectator area
- Spectators will not be able cut through the streets from the start of the parade until the last police officer passes the spectators.
- Unfortunately no building access or restrooms will be available
- Following AISD rules, no alcohol, tobacco or weapons permitted
