The Office of the Registrar at Navarro Early College High School serves as the central hub for student records and academic documentation. Our office oversees class rank, credit entry, education verifications, enrollment, grading, graduation, PEIMS, student records, transcripts, and withdrawals.
We work closely with students, families, and staff to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency throughout a student’s academic journey. By maintaining clear procedures and reliable records, we help students navigate their academic progress and prepare for future educational opportunities.

In her current role, Ms. Chavera oversees education verifications, enrollment, former student transcripts, PEIMS, student records, and withdrawals.
Sandra brings a wealth of experience to the Registrar’s Office and is no stranger to the Navarro community. She first joined the district in 2012, serving as a Parent Support Specialist before later becoming the Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Burnet Middle School.
In 2019, she joined the International High School (IHS) team as the Registrar, where she supported the school through several relocations—from the Johnston Campus, to the original L.C. Anderson Campus, and most recently the Northeast Campus.
Sandra was selected as one of our registrars in December 2025 and officially joined the Viking community in January 2026. She is excited to continue the work she loves in the community where her journey with Austin ISD began.
Adrian "AJ" Hernandez
Lead Registrar for Graduation Services & Academic Progress
Mr. Hernandez serves as Lead Registrar at Navarro, overseeing class rank, credit entry, current student transcripts, district awards, grading, and graduation, as well as leading the Office of the Registrar.
A native Austinite, AJ began his career with Austin ISD in 2017 as a student worker at Webb Middle School. He has since served in roles including PEIMS Clerk, Attendance Specialist, Data Processor, and Administrative Assistant in the Office of Talent Strategy.
Education runs deeply in his family. AJ is a third-generation AISD employee and a proud product of AISD schools, with a combined 96 years of service among his mother, grandmother, and great-aunt. He is proud to continue this family tradition.
AJ joined the Viking community in 2021 and stepped into his current role in October 2023. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a devoted fan of the Texas A&M Aggies and the San Francisco 49ers.
