New Student Enrollment
Families who have never had a student enrolled in Austin ISD are considered new families. New student enrollment begins online through Enroll Austin and must be completed before a student can attend school.
Parents or guardians must first create an Enroll Austin account, which will also generate an AISD Parent Portal account, to begin the enrollment process.

Students must attend the campus assigned to their home address. Before starting the enrollment process, families should confirm their zoned school using Austin ISD’s school finder tool.
All new students must submit an application through Enroll Austin. Parents or guardians should create an account and complete all required online forms, which are submitted directly to the Office of the Registrar.
Please note that Austin ISD no longer accepts paper registration forms. All new student registration must be completed online.
During the registration process, families may upload required documents in Enroll Austin or bring them to campus after the application has been submitted.
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card (optional, but preferred)
- Immunization Records
- Withdrawal Records or Academic Transcript
- Proof of Parent/Guardian Identity
- Proof of Residency
The parent/guardian of a non-homeless student (or the person with whom the parent/guardian is residing) must provide one of the following:- Current lease agreement
- Recent utility bill (within 45 days)
- Recent mortgage statement (within 45 days)
- Recent property tax receipt
- Proof of Guardianship (if applicable)
If the student lives in the District with someone other than the student’s parent, guardian, or another person having lawful control under a court order, the following must be provided:- A notarized letter from the student’s parent, guardian, or person with lawful control assigning responsibility for the student in all school-related matters to an adult resident of the District
- A completed Guardianship Statement submitted to the Office of Student Services at 4000 S IH-35 Frontage Road, Suite 151, Austin, TX 78704
After submitting the Enroll Austin application, families must visit Navarro to complete the enrollment process by presenting any required documentation to the Office of the Registrar.
Please note: The Office of the Registrar is not automatically notified when applications are submitted and does not contact families to schedule enrollment appointments. Families should come to campus during registration hours to complete enrollment.
Registration Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–10:30 AM
Returning Student Enrollment
Families with students who are currently enrolled or were previously enrolled are considered returning families. Returning students are required to complete online re-registration each school year to ensure student information remains accurate and up to date.
Parents or guardians must log in to their existing AISD Parent Portal to complete the annual forms through Enroll Austin. If you do not yet have an account or are unable to access your login information, please contact the Austin ISD Department of Enrollment Services for assistance.
Note: While you may have been enrolled in the district previously, families whose student has been out of Austin ISD for more than three years should refer to the new student registration required documents to ensure all necessary materials are provided.
All returning students must submit their annual forms through Enroll Austin. Once completed, the forms are submitted directly to the Office of the Registrar.

Returning families are not required to submit enrollment documents each year unless there has been a change to the student’s information.
