Navarro Early College High School proudly celebrates the accomplishments of the Class of 2026. This page contains important information regarding the graduation ceremony, including the event schedule, graduate expectations, guest guidelines, attire requirements, and seating details.
Graduation is a formal academic ceremony, and all students and guests are expected to follow school and district guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and memorable experience for everyone. Please review all sections carefully and check back regularly for updates as the ceremony date approaches.
Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

Graduation attire consists of the official graduation gown, cap, tassel, and any campus-approved regalia awarded by the school. Caps, gowns, and regalia must be purchased through the school’s approved vendor: https://txgrad.com/juan-p-navarro-high-school/
Heritage stoles may be worn with prior approval. Seniors must submit a photo of the proposed stole to Ms. Kayser, Ms. Trevino, and Mr. Hernandez for review.
The following items are not permitted at graduation:
- Decorated caps
- Flowers
- Leis
- Money necklaces
- Mardi Gras beads
- Flags
- Chains
- LED or flashing lights
- Any similar accessories
Tassels must be worn on the right side of the cap and will be moved to the left when directed by the Principal at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Seniors are encouraged to wear business-casual attire under their gowns, preferably with pockets for keys and cell phones. Backpacks, bags, purses, or personal items should not be brought to the venue.
Graduates should wear comfortable, appropriate footwear (no tennis shoes or flip-flops), as they will walk ramps, stairs, and photo areas during the ceremony.
Graduates are expected to conduct themselves respectfully upon arrival, throughout the ceremony, and following its conclusion. Seniors must remain seated and in attendance for the entire ceremony and stay with the Class of 2026 until it officially ends.
Early departure is not permitted and may result in disciplinary action by campus administration.
Seniors must report to the venue one hour prior to the ceremony. Check in with Ms. Chavera or Mr. Hernandez and line up alphabetically as directed by posted signage.
Lineup takes place outdoors beneath the Burger Stadium bleachers on the Hwy 290 side. After check-in, seniors will receive their Class of 2026 medallion and two name cards (one for the announcer and one for the photographer).
Graduates who do not check in will be assumed absent, and their name will not be announced during the ceremony.
Seniors will receive a diploma cover at graduation. Official diplomas are available in the main office beginning Monday, June 15, 2026. Final transcripts will be available in mid-July.
After graduation, students will no longer have access to Naviance. College applications requiring a final transcript will still be sent automatically at no cost.

Seniors should provide a personal email address for continued communication when requesting final transcripts.

AISD provides shuttle buses between the campus and venue two hours before and after the ceremony. On-site parking: $10 pre-paid, $15 on the day of the event. Pre-pay via Austin ISD website.
Parking for Burger Arena & Stadium is accessible from Hwy 290 and Jones Rd. entrances.
All visitors must use clear bags. Guests may be inspected by AISD staff.
Approved bags include:
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags with a single logo no larger than 4.5" x 3.4"
- Clear bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
- One clear one-gallon resealable plastic freezer bag per person
- Small clutch bags (with or without a strap), size of a hand, not exceeding 4.5" x 6.5"
Exceptions are made for medically necessary items after inspection.
Failure to comply may result in removal. Not allowed:
- Disorderly conduct
- Food and drinks (free bottled water provided)
- Smoking or vaping
- Alcohol consumption or service on AISD property
- Laser pointers
- Littering
- Noisemakers or air horns
- Drones
- Balloons, confetti, silly string, powder, beach balls, large posters, or streamers
- Glitter (thrown, displayed, or worn)
- Firearms, explosives, and weapons
- Any item deemed inappropriate by AISD staff
Families needing ASL interpretation will be seated in a designated area. Notify AISD staff at the entrance if required. Subtitles available via QR code on mobile devices.
Spanish-language translation is available through Facebook Live. Scan a QR code at the event and listen on mobile devices using earbuds or headphones.
