Dear Navarro ECHS Community,

In previous years, Navarro ECHS has offered SAT & ACT weekend testing to serve AISD students, families, and the greater Austin community.

Due to school re-opening procedures and timelines Navarro ECHS has decided on the following regarding college entrance exams (SAT/ACT):

1. Cancelled ACT examinations for August 2020 and September 2020.

2. Cancelled SAT examinations for August 2020 and September 2020.

3. Future SAT/ACT Examination opportunities will be dependent on AISD reopening plans.

4. Spring 2021 testing opportunities will also be dependent on AISD reopening plans.

We are committed to providing a safe learning environment for our students, staff, and community members. Student and staff health were the major determining factors for these cancellations.

Impact on the college application process:

Colleges are reviewing testing requirements and updating admission policies daily. We encourage students and families to self-advocate by contacting prospective schools and monitoring college websites for changes.
