Javier Wallace Black History of Austin Tour

Students will engage with Austin Native and Duke Postdoctoral Javier Wallace in a community walk around Downtown, where they will learn about how black people have made major contributions to Austin.

Carver Museum: History of Juneteenth

Students will learn about the Carver Museum and the African American artifacts it holds and dive deeper into learning about Juneteenth.

Spades Luncheon

Teachers join us for a round or two of spades; if you need to learn how to play, we will teach you this culturally significant card game!
