The BBQ Team traveled to Burnet, Texas this weekend to compete in the Texas High School BBQ Competition. There were many ups and downs including rain, hail, sheltering in place, but when the ash settled, and the fires were out the team was awarded 4^th place out of 58 teams. This win secured us a spot at the National contest in June at Kalahari Resort.

El equipo de barbacoa viajó a Burnet, Texas este fin de semana para competir en la competencia de barbacoa de la escuela secundaria de Texas. Hubo muchos altibajos, como la lluvia, el granizo y el refugiarse en el lugar, pero cuando la ceniza se asentó y los incendios se apagaron, el equipo obtuvo el cuarto lugar de 58 equipos. Esta victoria nos aseguró un lugar en el concurso nacional en junio at Kalahari Resort.
