The Advanced Placement (AP) program at Navarro Early College High School provides students with the opportunity to take rigorous, college-level courses while still in high school. AP courses are designed to challenge students academically, strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and prepare them for success in college and beyond.

Students who take an AP course have the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both by achieving a qualifying score on the corresponding AP Exam. AP courses are recognized by colleges and universities across the United States and around the world, making them an excellent way to demonstrate academic readiness and stand out during the college admissions process.

AP Exams

Students enrolled in an AP course are encouraged to take the corresponding AP Exam in the spring. Qualifying exam scores may allow students to earn college credit or advanced placement, depending on the policies of the college or university they attend.
