Normal Operations to Resume Wednesday, January 28
We are happy to share that Navarro ECHS will operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday, January 28. All classes, extracurricular activities, and after-school programs will resume.
School Closure Extended Through January 27
Due to continued hazardous winter weather conditions, Navarro ECHS will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27. All classes, extracurricular activities, and athletic events are canceled for the day.
Safety First: School Closed January 26
Due to anticipated icy weather, freezing temperatures, and unsafe road conditions, Navarro ECHS will be closed on Monday, January 26.
Secure Entry Vestibule Now Open
Viking Nation, We are proud to announce that construction of our new secure entry vestibule is officially complete and opened on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Winter Break Reminder
Navarro Early College High School and Austin ISD will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 22, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026.

Summer Construction Update
Navarro ECHS Community, Beginning Monday, June 9, the Navarro Early College High School Main Office will be temporarily relocated to the Theatre due to ongoing construction on campus.
School Closure for Tuesday, January 21
Due to icy and inclement weather conditions, all Austin ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and this decision has been made out of an abundance of caution.
Campus Modernization Update
Dear Navarro ECHS Families and Friends, One of the key projects included in the voter-approved Austin ISD 2022 Bond Program is the phased modernization of Navarro ECHS.
Temporary Relocation of the Main Office
In preparation for the new school year, our custodial team is currently in the process of cleaning and waxing the floor in the main office. Due to this minor disturbance, the main office staff has been temporarily relocated to the library for the week of July 22.
Summer Hours of Operation
Effective Friday, May 31, Austin ISD will operate on a summer efficiency schedule. The main office will be open from 8am to 4pm, Monday - Thursday with all district facilities closed on Fridays. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 29.
