Registration — Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
All families enrolling in Austin ISD will need to submit the following documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card (If applicable)
- Immunization Records
- Withdrawal Records/Academic Transcript (If applicable)
- Proof of Parent/Guardian Identity
- Proof of Residency — The parent/guardian of a non-homeless student (or person with whom the parent/guardian is residing) must provide proof of residency to enroll the student as follows:
- Current Lease Agreement, or
- Recent (within 45 days) Utility Bill, or
- Recent (within 45 days) Mortgage Statement, or
- Recent Property Tax Receipt
- Proof of Guardianship (If applicable) — If the student lives in the District with someone other than the student's parent, guardian, or other person having lawful control under a court order, the following must be provided:
- A notarized letter from the student's parent, guardian, or other person having lawful control under a court order assigning responsibility for the student in all school-related matters to an adult resident of the District, and
- The adult resident assuming responsibility for the student must complete and submit a Guardianship Statement with the Office of Student Services located at 4000 S IH-35 Frontage Road, Suite 151, Austin, TX 78704.
All returning families must complete online registration every school year. This is done to ensure that all of your student's information and date is accurate and remains up-to-date in our student information system.
Austin ISD and Navarro Early College High School requires a parent/guardian to provide the following documents to complete the registration process:
- Immunization Records
- Withdrawal Records/Academic Transcript (If applicable)
- Proof of Parent/Guardian Identity

Families can visit www.austinisd.org/enroll and click “Start Your Application.” Current Austin ISD families will enter the same email they use to access the parent portal and will be directed to login to the Austin ISD Parent Portal.
Families who have never accessed any Austin ISD systems will enter their preferred email. The system will recognize that the email does not yet exist in the system and will direct you to the Create Account page.

Records — Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
One of the following documents listed below must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar in order to initiate an address change. Addresses cannot be changed via the AISD Parent Portal.
- Current Lease Agreement, or
- Recent (within 45 days) Utility Bill, or
- Recent (within 45 days) Mortgage Statement, or
- Recent Property Tax Receipt
If your phone number or email has changed, you can update your information in the AISD Parent Portal or submit the changes to the Office of the Registrar. No additional documentation is needed for phone number or email updates.
If you are a representative of a third-party agency or corporation requesting verification of a former student's enrollment or graduation, please submit your request to navarroregistration@austinisd.org with a records release form signed by the student attached.
If a former Navarro student has enrolled at your school and you need to request records, please follow these guidelines:
- Texas Public or Charter Schools: Submit your request through the Texas Records Exchange (TREx) system. Our campus can be found by name as Navarro Early College H S or by LEA code 227901004. All Texas public schools are required to use TREx for student record exchanges.
- Private or Out-of-State Schools: Submit your request via email to navarroregistration@austinisd.org or via fax to (512) 414-6424.
Austin ISD records are public and can be obtained through a written request using our public records request form.
