Transcripts

How to Request a Transcript

The State of Texas Academic Achievement Record (commonly referred to as a transcript) is the official record of a student’s high school academic history. These records are permanently maintained for all current and former students.

Transcripts are only released upon request and can be requested by the student or by a parent/guardian if the student is under 18 years old.

  • Current Students: Currently enrolled students may request transcripts through Naviance via the AISD Portal or by contacting the registrar assigned to their last name.
  • Former Students: Formerly enrolled students may request transcripts by submitting a request through the online form: Transcript Request Form

How to Pay

The fee for official transcripts is $5 per copy. The total amount due will be determined by the number of copies requested. Payment is required at the time of the request, and transcripts will be processed and sent once payment is received. Payments can be made online via MySchoolCentral or in cash when picking up the transcript from Navarro.

Please take note of the following items before ordering your official transcript:

  • Should you choose to pick up your transcript and pay in cash, exact cash must be brought as change cannot be given by the Office of the Registrar.
  • Review your order carefully before paying online. Once an order is paid, the order cannot be revised or canceled; refund requests will not be accepted.
  • Confirmed online orders left unpaid will be cancelled and you will need to submit another request.
  • To prevent online ordering errors, do not use the browser’s “back” button at any time during order placement.
  • Transcripts sent to incomplete addresses provided online may cause delivery delays or returns by the U.S. Postal Service. Review recipient addresses carefully before submitting your transcript request.

Delivery Options

There are three available delivery options for official transcripts ordered online: mail, pick up, and TREx.

Transcripts that are mailed or picked up will be placed in a sealed envelope, with the registrar’s signature stamped across the back flap. Transcripts sent directly to third parties are also considered sealed.

Transcripts are typically mailed within 4–5 business days. During peak periods, processing may take longer. Transcripts are sent via U.S. First Class Mail and cannot be tracked. You may request mailing to your home address or directly to an institution, employer, or agency.

Transcripts are typically ready within 3–4 business days. You may pick up your transcript in person or authorize someone else to do so. Payment can be made online or with exact cash at pickup.

Electronic transcripts sent via TREx are typically delivered within 1–2 business days. This option is only available to students who attended in 2012 or later and is limited to select colleges and universities within Texas.

Please note that although TREx records can be tracked, we do not provide confirmation of receipt. We recommend following up with the receiving party to verify successful delivery
