How to Request a Transcript
The State of Texas Academic Achievement Record, commonly known as a transcript, is an official record of a student's high school academic achievements. These records are permanently maintained for all current and former students. Transcripts are released only upon request and can be requested by the student or by a parent/guardian if the student is under 18. To request a copy, please visit the link below.
How to Pay
The fee for official transcripts is $5 per copy. The total amount due will be determined by the number of copies requested. Payment is required at the time of the request, and transcripts will be processed and sent once payment is received. Payments can be made online via MySchoolCentral or in cash when picking up the transcript from Navarro.
Please take note of the following items before ordering your official transcript:
- Should you choose to pick up your transcript and pay in cash, exact cash must be brought as change cannot be given by the Office of the Registrar.
- Review your order carefully before paying online. Once an order is paid, the order cannot be revised or canceled; refund requests will not be accepted.
- Confirmed online orders left unpaid will be cancelled and you will need to submit another request.
- To prevent online ordering errors, do not use the browser’s “back” button at any time during order placement.
- Transcripts sent to incomplete addresses provided online may cause delivery delays or returns by the U.S. Postal Service. Review recipient addresses carefully before submitting your transcript request.
Delivery Options
There are two available delivery options for official transcripts ordered online: mail and pick up.
Transcripts that are mailed or picked up will be placed in a sealed envelope, with the registrar’s signature stamped across the back flap. Transcripts sent directly to third parties are also considered sealed.
Transcripts ordered and paid for online to be mailed are typically sent from our office within four (4) to five (5) business days. During peak periods, especially at the start and end of semesters, processing and mailing may take longer. Transcripts are sent via U.S. First Class Standard mail and cannot be tracked. You can request transcripts to be mailed either directly to your mailing address or to any institution, employer, or corporate agency.
Transcripts ordered online for pick up are typically ready within three (3) to four (4) business days. Students can either pay online or bring cash when picking up their transcript. An email will be sent from our office once the transcript is available for pick up.
