Choir

The Viking Choir program is a place for students to learn about how they can use their voices to create music together. We learn different styles of singing, the solfege system, how to sight read, and many more things! We participate in UIL events, go on field trips, and sometimes even help out with the Viking Theatre program!

The central philosophy of Guitar is that, at all stages, students should be making beautiful, expressive music. This course is designed and influenced by the TEKS to create an understanding of music literacy, creative expression through guitar, historical and cultural relevance to the music we play, as well as the critical evaluation and response to different music
