Winter weather is in the forecast next week and we’re monitoring how it may affect Austin ISD schools and offices. Why it matters: Cold and icy conditions could cause us to delay or cancel district schools, as well as affect electricity and other utilities.
AISD Board of Trustees Approve 2024-2025 School Year Calendar
Results from the 2024-25 calendar survey indicated that 59% of participants preferred calendar option B. The proposed final calendar incorporates community feedback requesting additional faith based and cultural observances and staff development days.
